I have a Dell Smart 256mb Memory key model No: SM9FLAMK and need a driver so I can use it with Windows 98 (not 98SE)
after viewing various forums I have tried a few suggested driver downloads with no success. Has anyone had any success with this particular key model and Windows 98?

That key will only work with 98SE. it will not work with Windows 98.

I just spotted you. Could you explain a little of what you have. Mini Disc?
IS it like where you can put music on it and with headphones listen to it?
or is this a Storage usb device

I made a mistake, it's a sony micro vault 1gb, xp recognises a usb mass storage device but I cant format no work with it, always asks for a disk to be inserted, tried it on linux and got thesame thing, will look for 98SE, and see if it's any help, one question, is there any physical way of repairing flash drives?

You need to identify the particular model -at least 4 that Sony makes with 1 gb.
