I think Newegg is screwing me over.

Has anyone else had this problem?
I purchase from Newegg a couple of times a week.
About 6 weeks ago Newegg started requiring a Master SecureCode be used when purchasing, if your bank belongs to the Master Secure code system.
I use a debit card and my bank belongs to the master secure code system.
So 6 weeks ago I sign up for the Master Secure Code.
Everything is fine, purchasing items for the last six weeks.
Suddenly on Wednesday all my purchases are declined.
My bank is saying its Neweggs problem.
Newegg say its my banks problem
Would you share your experiences making newegg purchases for me so I can try and see if it is only my bank, newegg or my card that is having the problem?
Especially if you use a MasterCard debit card for purchases and use the master secure code, I would be interested.
    thanks.

I purchase from Newegg all the time, with the Secure Visa platform (sorry, no MasterCard). Never had a problem with it.

Think about it, youre trying to buy from them. I doubt they would be trying to 'screw' you by not taking your money. Obviously theres some snafu. Ive bought from them quite a bit with no problems, even RMA's. Get a human in the front office on the phone and make sure they can see your acct history, and make them realize they're in jeopardy of losing all of your business if THEY dont figure out the problem ASAP.... If they arent interested in helping, you probably should be doing business elsewhere anyway.... (i bet they will be)

I have 19 pages of order history with them going back to 1991. They offered to send my order free of charge so they are trying to do the right thing. I told them my problem is I need to be able to place orders and get my products, that is the only issue. As it stands I can't. They really don't know why this is happening, as my bank also doesn't know why.
I am trying to see if it is a problem with my card, my bank or newegg. The problem is newegg is refusing to look into it. Saying there is no problem on their end. According to the average Joe in customer service. I can't get them to buck it up the line. Thats my problem

Just like rgharper says. My secured visa works fine. You really shouldn't expect newegg to troubleshoot your bank's problem. If your bank is worth keeping, I'd expect their customer service department to help. The problem is the bank's, not the vendor's.

Put yourself in Newegg's place. If you have a problem with a customer's credit card authorization, do you try to fix it or do you hand the customer your phone?

A bank debit card will use a reserve of 75.00 even if you only purchase 20.00.This means you have much less in your account than you really do.It is a new way for the perfect age of technology to screw you.Once your purchase is secured in about 5-7 days the difference is recalculated to your account. So a new way for banks to reserve money to draw interest. If you don't understand this jibberish call your bank and they will explain in more detail how you are being screwed.

Maybe your bank does this but mine does not. When I use a debit card for a charge the actual amount of the debit shows up on my online statement within minutes.

Mebbe you need to switch banks there, street1.
