Nero problems
I was attempting to burn a cd from an iso image on my hard drive
Once Nero smart start loads I chose "burn image to disk". The application goes to load and hen I get " nero.exe has encountered a problem in needs to close "
I tried with all the other applications and get the same error, this same software has worked fine for my before
I reinstalled nero after uninstalling it and removing it's folder
I still get this error
I am running Win XP pro on a DFI Lanparty with an Athlon 64 3200+
I have two dvd burners, both on their own channel a sata hard drive WD
I use Corsair ram,
This is an expensive system, no cheapie and yet I can't burn cd's , Is Windows still THAT unstable
Is it time for a Mack
Or should I install Linux , The only way I see of correcting this is to reinstall the crappy operating system and I don't have time for that
Any ideas would be appreciates
I checked my event viewer and could see no real changes to bring on this problem, Just M$ and their crappy code
I kind of dread Vista comming out
Format c I'm givin er all she's got cap'in !!! )

I believe I am reading you right, I had simuler problem With a ISO file
showing CD, after unzipping it with winrar I could burn it with Nero 7.
Then again I may not be talking about same thing. I may be con--fused.
btw I think vista will be problematic on same issue. Burners probably will
not meet specs on vista. Microsoft trying to satisfy the Media, music,RALL.

Nero is probably one of the best pieces of software out there.
Its ordinarily error free.
I have to ask what version exactly are you using?
Is it the full version or an OEM version you got with 1 of the burners?

Does Nero find both of your burners? Again, which version of Nero? Have you tried updates from Nero's website?
