ZEN Works Boot CD
Greetigns All!
I have just made the leap from MS to Novell and am now trying to make life easier with ZEN works!
Problem is that not all of my equipment supports the default drivers, if anyone has drivers for ZEN works on Linx 2.4.14 they would be interested in sharig that whould be great.
this will then be complied into a ZEN Works boot CD that supports more curretn equipment.
Currently have: Default set + Intel e1000 + Broadcom 57XX

always use the latest SP for your version of zenworks, you'll find most of the hardware is accounted for driver-wise.

What made you switch from Microsoft to Novell? Usually the opposite is true. Working in Novell environment currently (switching to MS and AD in the summer) I find that Zenworks complicates more than it makes life easier.
Just my opinion

When used properly it will do what ZEN stands for. Zero Effort Networking.
Basic rules apply afcourse:
- you do have a clean boot image that you sysprepped
- you do have an add-on image with ALL drivers in it
- you do have an office image with the install files
- you are using scripted imaging
- you do use group policies
- you only use MSI-based NAL-objects
That and a sanity check on your applications before you start rolling out 1200+ of them is all.
