    Memory timings

I have an Asus P5GD1 and after running Everest I see on the chipset page that the memory timings data is: 2.5,4,4,8.

However, on the SPD data it shows refresh "reduced (7.8 us)" and 2.5,3,3,8.

What is the significance of this discrepancy, if any?

    thanks

Got my answer in part - still looking at why the Intel chip and actual vary- it is probably explained somewhere in these articles but lots of reading and page flipping.
