Lost IE 6.5 display
I am trying to help a friend. His wife somehow lost the IE display. It appears to work, shows up in the task bar at the bottom of the screen. But he is unable to get the display. As he describes it it sounds like she somehow moved it off the right side of the screen. When he moves the cursor to the righ or bottom of the screen it keeps moving unlike the top or left where it stops at the edge of the screen. When right clicking the icon in the toolbar it does not give an option to maximize just minimize and restore? Any ideas on this and how maybe to get the screen back?

Quickest way I know is to go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel then click on Add/Remove Windows components then un-check Internet Explorer and keep going until it is gone then reboot, reverse the process and re-check the box.

After clicking add\remove select the 'repair' option, this will replace any corrupt or missing files and return it to it's default state, eveything should work fine afterwards, unless you have the installation files to hand once you've removed it the instal files and .msi files will go with it.

if it's what you say it is... I've found increaseing the screen resolution to max allows me to get "moved" screens back.... if that's the problem anyways
