Dual monitor on 2 video cards (onboard and AGP)

I have a IBM Netvisa 8307 and I am trying to get the internal onboard video card and a second video card to run together for dual monitor output. I have done this on many systems but the Netvista will only allow one video card to be used. Once I install the 2nd AGP card the internal onboard video card ceases to be recognised. I have looked through the BIOS setup but cannot find anything related. I am assuming these motherboards will not allow this type of setup. Any help would be great, thanks.

BIOS is up to date. i think its due to the fact its an netvista. These are targeted at buisness and with only 2 mem slots, I perdict the board has its limits.

I would have to say that this may be one of the machines that cannot do that. Once you insert an AGP card it disables the onboard all together. I have seen this done with a PCI card and onboard. I have worked on a couple machines that were like this. Of course they were compaqs, but still.

Why not just get an agp card that supports dual monitors? I have seen those for as low and $30 - $40.

Perhaps a PCI video card might work? I had a machine a while back that when an AGP card was in the slot the onboard was automatically disabled (no bios settings) and a PCI card worked... I always figured two cards can't run on the same AGP... but don't quote me.. :P

PS bleh, Bob beat me... damn customers calling an interupting me!
