    Billy Preston Dies

    The Singer/Songwriter, keyboardist and soul star died yesterday at age 59, "after a long illness as a result of malignant hypertension that resulted in kidney failure and other complications." He wrote a lot of great songs that most of us know, including, Nothing from Nothing, Bridge over troubled water, You are So Beautiful and many more. He also appeared and co-wrote with The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Neil Diamond, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. RIP Billy Preston.

    I always liked his positive energy, especially on stage.

    I sure will miss him, but I am happy that his music lives on.
