Drop network connection
Have a user with a HP NC6230 lap top running XP pro and all the updates. The user is is running Oracle program scripts for some reason she is getting network or share drop connections. we haev switched out hard ware and same issue seems to follow we also have put her in another switch on the network port no change. Checked logs no issue I can tie to the problem she is having. Any ideas would be great.

go to the power management tab on the properties page for the network card and make sure "allow the computer to turn off..." is NOT checked. not much else I can offer on that one.
