Win Xp Tablet PC - Clean CD?

I bought a Gateway Tablet PC about a week ago. As most of you know the recovery CD from any PC manufacturer come with a whole bunch of things I really don't need, and more importantly don't WANT!

In any case, I just wanted to ask if it is possible to request a "clean" cd from Microsoft, since I already paid for the Windows and all that...

    Any ideas on this one?

Thanks to all for the help.

Your only recourse would be to buy a retail version of Windows. The Microsoft Windows that comes with that tablet is only for that tablet. If you want another one, you will have to pay for it.

I see. yeah I spoke to Gateway and they told me the same thing. Since the windows is an OEM, I haven't actually bought it .

Oh well.... on to other things then.

    Thanks for the help.
