Office 2003 send delay

I have a customer that would like to have a delay when she clicks on send. Not sure that is possible.

Assuming she is on an always-on connection then the only things I can think of is to go into Tools | Options then Mail Setup tab; there you can uncheck "Send immediately when connected". Also check out the Send/Receive button in the same place. In there you can edit the All Groups settings and uncheck "Send mail items".

I think that will prevent mail from being sent automatically. She would then have to send it manually using the Send/Receive button on the toolbar.

You'll have to test these ideas.

She's a real funny gal. What she wants to do, and my opinion on it is be sure before you hit the send button, is to have like a 5 sec delay after she punches the send button so she can retract the send and fix an error, if she made one, before it sends. I think this is a girl thing, ya know, to change there mind at the last second and want to retract what they said or did. Don't tell my wife I said that. I don't see any way possible.

Also she wants to save her contacts automaticly if she replys to a message and I do know that is in there somewhere I just can't seem to find that option.

One more thing you may be able to help me on is she bought an upgrade from 2000 to 2003 office, how many licenses are on this upgrade? Only one?

Anyway, yes that license only covers one u/g.

Anyone you reply to is automatically saved in the outlook cache, if you type in the address later it'll still be there and pull up when you start to type it. To save I believe is just a simple right click and save it to your address book.

Oh heck no we never change our mind, well maybe we do, ahh hell no we don't but sometime's. Hmmmm, I'm not sure now. Hehehe. Just was joking. She's a cool lady. Thanks for the info. I change my mind all the time. Been married three times.
