Serial drive help
I am building my first Pc with serial drives, hard drive as well as dvd drive. I got a SilverStone TJ07 which has no floppy drive bay. I bought an Intel D975XBX motherboard. I'm waiting on the new 6600 Intel processor. I got a Hitachi 500gb serial drive and a Plextor serial dvd drive. Now my question is how do I install XP with no floppy drive? Can I use the dvd drive since that is also a serial drive? Do I even need to install drivers with this configuration? Help, I'm stressed!

It all depends on whether your serial ATA controller is recognized.
Some are some are not.
If yours is not you will need to make a slipstreamed cd with XP and the drivers on it
