http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14806213/
REDMOND, Wash. - Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday released several security fixes for its Windows operating system and Office software, and rereleased two previous patches.
The Redmond software maker said one of the patches fixes a defect in a version of its Office Publisher software that carries the company's highest "critical" rating. The other patches were to fix Windows flaws that are considered less threatening.
The company also rereleased another fix for a critical flaw in some versions of the Internet Explorer browser that is included in the Windows operating system, because it had discovered an additional security concern.
The company also said it was rereleasing a patch to fix a critical flaw in its some Windows systems because the previous patch may cause a glitch in certain situations.
