Stop the Beeps in DOS
I have a DOS-based program that Beeps when flipping between screens. The software has no sound settings. Is there a way to disable the sound just in DOS ? Thanks!

open up the case and unplug the speaker from the motherboard

It's a Compaq small form facor with 1 internal speaker for sound...otherwise that solution would work.

That's the only real way to get rid of the annoying beeps. Once I got my computer running, I cut off the speaker. Apart from diagnostics, all it does is annoy.
