    Partition Magic 8.05

    I want to convert FAT and FAT32 to NTFS. The options for this are unavailable for some reason. There is plenty of space on the drives. Does anyone know why so many convertion options are not available?

    The answer CCT gave you is perfect for using windows XP to convert..but I don't know why the options aren't available in Partition Magic..version 8 should certainly give you them unless you are trying to convert the partition that PM is loaded on.

    I've already used convert. I'd forgotten about it.

    I've made a booting CD for PM which works ok apart from a couple of disk reading failures when it starts. I press f for fail and PM starts.

    PM doesn't seem to work on an external drive on USB. I might want that sometimes.
