Multimedia Audio controller driver missing, too!
I am at my wit's end here. Just like a lot of the posters, I am missing my multimedia audio controller driver.
I have a Matsonic MS8308E motherboard, with these multimedia devices listed from Belarc:
MPU-401 compatible midi device
SiS 7018 Audio driver
Standard game port
Unimodem half-duplex audio device
I have tried to reinstall the driver, but the computer won't find it on the matsonic disc.
I tried fixing it from the my computer - manage screen, and it says it is working, i.e., windows audio is set to automatic.
Any clues as to what I need to do?
Thanks for your help.

Driver Terrier
Welcome to Windrivers MRed94625
Click on CCT's link, it will take you to the drivers for your motherboard, download the sound zip file (near the bottom of the page) and save it to a directory such as c:\sound Extract (unzip) the file to the same directory. Assuming you have XP - go to device manager and into the properties for the sound card... update driver and tell Windows to look in the directory you unzipped the files to... windows should take it from there
