Refurbished Apple laptop sent out with Pornographic content
I don't know whether this is funny or not but apparently a man bought a computer for his daughter at the Apple Store and when he got it home and fired it up, there were porno images on the desktop. This story seems secondhand so who knows if it's true or not.

Hmm..indeed !
Not sure if that's worse than my experience of buying a brand new laptop off EBay ... then few months later, phone call,
'This is ___ Police, did you buy a laptop from ebay on ____?'
'Yes'
'I'm calling to say it's stolen property, would you have purchased it if you'd known?'
'No'
'You can keep it but would you print and sign and post back the statement that I email through to you?'
'Do you mean I have to pay for a stamp to send it back to you, what do I pay taxes for?'
'Yes you do'
I then let slip the laptop was a spare. He said something like 'gotcha, you can afford a stamp'
The laptop's never felt the same since...

It's a feature, not a bug.
