    help about my motherboard

    i want to buy new pc... isn't the asrock AM2NF6G-VSTA with built in video card (geforce 6100 nforce 405) is good for gaming? witount adding another video card?

    Welcome to WinDrivers, mo0nstar.

    The 6100 would be among the better available on-board solutions, but only runs at 425MHz compared with 475MHz for the 6150. Both are light on for Pixel and Shader pipelines, so are really only up to less demanding games.

    One review commented:

    "Who would really want to play Doom 3 at 24FPS at 800x600 - and that's with no eye candy. However, by lowering detail and resolution, you should be able to find a playable 640x480 or 800x600 in most games. However, if you want better detail or higher resolution, you need to use a better video card."

    might be economical enough and produce a better result for you.


    I don't specifically recommend these products, I am just letting you see that you can get better performance for gaming at minimal additional cost.

    My opinion anyway.

    IMO if you wanna play all the latest games, then i think ya might struggle, unless ya have got a seperate card
