    Hi,
I Have succesfully slipstreamed Office 2003 with sp2.
Now I want to slipstream the proofing tools with their SP2
    I followed instructions by http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/48/
the problem is - the resulted folder weighs ~1.4Gb (which I cannot burn on CD).

    Please assist,
    Gabriel

Use of DVD is not available as most of the client machines I am handaling uses a plain CDROM drive (or CDRW Drive).

Don't think you can get around this one. When you slipstream you are replacing existing files with updated versions; sometimes with files that are actually smaller than the original.

What you have done here is add the proofing tools content which is not a part of the original Office install content therefore the increase in size is a given.

    I C your point
    but
What I am trying to accomplish is that I will have 1 CD with office 2003SP2 (which I succefully achieved) and one CD with The "Office 2003 Proofing tools SP2".

    Thanks,
    Gabriel

The problem stems (I think) from extracting the files to slipstream them... they are no longer compressed. Can you work out a way of compressing them again? Perhaps write to the author of the article?
