My motherboard lost the keyboard
They gave me a borad CUSL2-M. After installing it he worked well one day and to the following one, when I lit the computer, he sent me the message of "error of the keyboard or keyboard doesn't present"
I have already been able to check that it is not the keyboard because I proved it in another machine and he works well. Can somebody give me light of as fixing this defect?

The keyboard should be PS2, because it is not connected by on USB.

You can get some info here by reading the user manual and faq's;
http://support.asus.com/faq/faq.aspx...&model=CUSL2-M
I didn't see anything about keyboard problems, but the users manual is always good to read while trouble shooting.

You can buy a usb keyboard. If your board is in warranty I would be
contacting whoever sold you the board.

If you are in the habit of removing or plugging in the keyboard when the computer is powered up, you probably fried the port on the motherboard. Get a USB keyboard and pray that you have the correct bios settings for running a usb keyboard (since you can't get into bios to change the settings without a ps2 keyboard!

Have you borrowed another keyboard to test just in case?

No, I have not proven with another keyboard. But when the MOBO failed we prove the keyboard in another machine and I worked well. For that reason we know that it is the board.
That they can tell me of a keyboard fuse that there is in the board, as I could see in a web.

Then if you are lucky enough to have a motherboard that has a replaceable fuse, get it replaced! All should be well afterwards.

Keyboard is Ps2
The problem would be in motherboard PS2 Connector so attached the USB Keyboard and check that the USB keyboard is working or not, If the Keyboard works than the PS2 port mistake will be there.

The problem is in that, if there is not keyboard it cannot pass of the one post of beginning. This way one cannot know if some other device works, including the ports USB

Hello
I was able to solve the problem of the Board that didn't recognize the keyboard, thanks to the help of all you.
I want to give them those thanks to all those that were interested in helping me.
But, even those to those that it happens him something similar, I can tell them that:
1. If you remove the fuse and it measures it, it can be that it indicates them that this good one. Substitute it in all ways.
Almost I stay if head because the fuse indicated good and it was bad.

Where can i find the fuse? i have the same problem.
I can't go to the BIOS because I can't press DEL on my USB keyboard. The USB keyboard only works after the OS has finished loading.. and everytime I use a PS/2 keyboard the post will say that there is no keyboard present.
