I have a Windows 98se machine networked with a Windows XP Pro. The XP machine has a shared folder with a Peachtree company file on it. The Win98 machine has a drive mapped to the shared Peachtree folder. Peachtree has been working fine for over a year until a few days ago. Peachtree cannot get to the shared folder. When I browse for the company file through the mapped drive, Peachtree hangs without an error message. I can however get to the mapped drive through Windows.
I tried remapping the drive, reinstalling Peachtree, checking for any new software on the XP machine(firewall). I'm stumped. I'd hate to format over this. Anyone have any ideas?
