SQL Server 2000 Question
I'll try to make this as clear as I can:
I accidentally unregistered an SQL server from Enterprise Manager; I need to re-register this server. I do not remember the "sa" password.
Is there any way anyone knows of that I can . . . recover the password? Uninstall/reinstall really isn't an option at this point.
If you need more info, I'll be happy to provide it.
Thanks.

Okay, I remembered it. But it'd still be interesting to know if password recovery can even be done. :D

Depends on your security... there are third party apps out there as well
this is an interesting read
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
