Messaging Interoperability
I am about to install Google Talk and wanted to know how interoperable it is with the other applications. Any advice on this entire area is most welcome.

Google Talk is a nice clean little client, but it is not like trillian which can connect to msn, yahoo or whatever. Trillian Pro can connect to Google Talk.
did you read the google talk help?
You should read this too It should be able to do AIM soon.

I have trillian free... that takes care of aim, msn, icq and yahoo. Google talk I have separately.
