Question NT4 Workstation and Dreamweaver UltraDev

Working on a Customers machine. He has a p3-500, 256 MB RAM, 12 gig HDD, NT4 Workstation sp6a, and Dreamweaver 3 Ultradev.

Problem is with Dreamweaver. Adding and object through timelines and getting a Out of Memory Error. Please close some prgrams and try again. Where the program locks at this point.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Are there any programs such as Anti virus or like running in the background?

Similar spec system to mine at home apart from I am using ME with UltraDev. I will have a good look at your prob and see if I can get mine to do the same.

    Exclamation

there was no anti-virus and increasing the page file did not help. Added extra RAM also but did not help. Customer did pick up machine today but would still like to hear opinions of something that might help. He will bring it back in for me to try ideas on.
    thanks

    OK here goes.

I have been messing with UltraDev tonight on my development system (PIII500 256Mb PC100, WinME), and found that after viewing the 'page' in Internet Explorer, once you try to do it again, Dreamweaver locks up, but doe snot give the 'Not responding' reference under Task Manager, even after 30 minutes or so. Could be a little paging bug within Dreamweaver??? Don't know why, but Dreamweaver UltraDev is the only software I own that does it. Normal DreamWeaver is fine!!!!!

Pass on this one, until I hear from Macromedia.

    Small Update.

I installed UltraDev on another system (PII 400 64Mb Win98SE) and it ran fine for ages. I then upgraded IE to IE5.5 and then teh problems started identical to the System which I have ME on. I have a strange feeling that UltraDev doesn't like IE5.5 very much. I then uninstalled IE5.5 and it went back to normal.
