    fan needs changing...

    http://www.epox-europe.com/products/...product_id=400

i've got this mobo; when i switched on today the mobo fan was whining and looked as if it was "slow"; it eventually spun up to speed and stopped whining (although i have noticed since writing that, there is a slight clicking noise; sounds like a train on the tracks but very quietly).

is this fan easy to change without having to remove the mobo?

what size is it? (i.e. what type do i ask for)

Very easy, it is the North bridge fan and usually is hel in by a spring wire or as in your case, 4 screws. They are usually measured in millimeters, such as case fans being 80mm or 92mm. Zalman makes some nice passive coolers if you are looking for quiet solutions.
