I even redownloaded the files and the updater and it still doesn't work.... is it now defunct does anyone know?

Hey NooNoo, hanging in there and trying to stay warm ( we got enough snow in the last month to change our drought status to normal ). How are things with you? still in school?
It use to be called nyquil kids or some such.... actually I think that may be the name of the guy who made it. it was a cd made up of a bunch of free av/malware removal tools. Anyway the guy who did it quit updating it but a fan made an updater for it which worked great till last october... after that I went back to using online scanners but have more and more run into computers that will not run them.... ( infected or whatever... just refuse to do anything... either with active x or java.. )
Have one now in fact.... running the publicav cd now ( from oct 06 ) and it's finding tons of stuff....
I don't remember where I first heard of it... it was on a forum and have used it since.... Anyway decided to post to see if anyone at the forums I'm on also use and/or know anything about it...
thanks for the reply!!

Glad you are no longer drought fodder. They finally removed the hosepipe ban here when my garden was under 3 inches of water....

thought I'd let you all know I got it working.... Had to put it on the server and update and burn from there... for some reason it refuses to work from the original computer... something is corrupt somewhere.... hopefully I'll be able to redo this one sometime....

As a side note - for a "public" Av I use the one that comes with http://www.ubcd4win.com/
I have built a lot of WinPE/BartPE plugins and CD's and once I have found out
