file associations
How do I change what program automatically opens a file? I have a Win NT machine that is using notepad to open acrobat files. I know how to do this in Win9x, but I'm not sure in WinNT. Thanks.

If you install Acrobat Reader, it should automatically create the associations. Otherwise, open My Computer, then choose Folder Options from the View Menu. Then the File types tab.

You mean
View -> Options... (In some cases).

Also if you right click and do an OPEN WITH, then check always use this program for these files, it will do it.
