Dell xps 1210 Buildin Webcam LIGHT

i own a dell xps 1210 with a built in webcam (logitech).
It has a blue led that comes on to show the camera is in use, is there anyway other than using tape to get the blue light to stay off when am using the camera

short answer is no, there is no way to turn off that light when the camera is operational. I know it's partialy deemed a privacy issue, Since the camera can rotate a full 180, it would be possible to record other people, in the same manner that digital cameras do not allow the disabling of the shutter sound, the system keeps the LED light-up to warn others.
