Post Auto Accept Calls in Netmeeting 3.01 for Win2k

Does anybody know a reg hack or configuration change for Netmeeting that would leave the Automically Accept Calls menu setting to stay checked after shutting down Netmeeting. I am talking only about Netmeeting 3.01 for Windows 2000. Whenever I check the auto accept calls option and then shut down Netmeeting, when I reopen Netmeeting them auto accept calls option in unchecked. I check the M$ Netmeeting web site and their are not service packs or updates available for Netmeeting 3.01 for Win2k at this time. I used tried using the resource kit but it will only build Netmeeting installations for 95/98/NT. I scanned the reg for all keys named "conf" "conf.exe" and "nm30" and I found an AutoAcceptCalls key. I change its value from 0 to 1 and rebooted the machine. I tested Netmeeting and it still will not retain the check mark next to Automatically Accept Calls in the File menu.

A possible work around might be to load a program such as rtvreco that you can configure to automatically push the accept button, (or any other dialog box button) and config it to run invisibly.

last i knew the program is free, don't know if it runs on win2k.

Good Luck

Another possible workaround could be adding a key named "PersistAutoAcceptCalls" with the value 1 in the registry keys [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Conf erencing]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Con ferencing]

In this way NetMeeting will remember your choice for AutoAcceptcalls, so you need to check it only at the first time you use netmeeting and then it will remain checked!
