    Popups

    I am running windows 2000 pro and just installed a internet service on my computer. When I went on the internet I got popup windows from messenger warning of problems with my registry. What is this and how do I get rid of it.

    Messenger service or msn messenger?

    If they are messenger service, they are likely to be spam - the only thing you can do is turn off the messenger service (start, run, services.msc).
