Gateway laptop w/internal liteon lsc-24082
Got this refurbished laptop on the web a few months ago, and has been running great.
Decided to burn some CDs and DVDs with the CD dvd drive.
It burns CDs great, can see CDs great, can see previously burned DVDs great.....but ahhhh heres the rub: will not recognize blank dvds. Keeps asking for me to retry putting in media into drive. Haven't found any firmware to make a difference.
I have gone to device mngr in xppro and uninstalling it, reinstalling, and starting that vicious cycle over again.
Really need to get this working.
Have worshipped the laptop's lil toes LOL have not dropped it, or anything to skew it up.
Thanks for this great forum. I have posted in 12 others without reply, you guys are indeed my last hope. I wrote Liteon 15 times without reply as well.

I also have a laptop with DVD and (CD burner) I believe you will need a external DVD burner. Your DVD on your laptop is only a player of DVD`s
and a CD burner.
