error at pc start up

i've checked with startup inspector etc but i cannot see why excel is giving an application error at first boot when its not being loaded.

the error is a instruction at 0x308f3f6f referenced memory at 0x00000128 the memory could not be read.


if by chance i quickly load excel the error doesnt happen.

i've got the bare min loading at startup. virus checked, etc.

any ideas?

I would first off check the memory in your system with goldmem
