Red face IE favorites aren't sorted... why?

    Hi,

I'm using IE5 on NT4 and I have tons of links in my favorites... but they are all messed up (not sorted by name)...

I succeeded with a trick in the physical directory, but every new link is again unsorted...

Is there something in the registry?

    Higg

Drop down favorites, right mouse click on any link and choose sort by name.

Any new links will be added to the bottom so you will have to remember to do this every now and again.

There used to be a way of doing it automatically, but I can't remember what it is.

Thanks alot... I worked a lot on computers but I never would have tried by luck to right-click on a temporary popped-up menu-bar... sounds like "hit ctrl-alt-del to log on" to fool people

Works the same way on your start/programs menu with Win98/Me/W2K...

    Yess Sowulo... I thought that!
From now on I'll think about this on any MS-popup-window... Perhaps there is a shift-F1-ESC-RightClick-feature too?!
