    Migrating to Windows

    Anybody been through a novell to Windows migration? I have a small site to move to Win2k3 in the next few months. Let me know of any tips or pointers! would be much appreciated.

    We are going through that now. Novell to Microsoft Servers and Groupwise to Exchange. Since our site is rather Large (3000+ Computers and Servers and about 10,000 users) we have an outside company assisting us with the process.


    Not much in the way of tips other than make sure you have a solid backup of your data and set up a small test environment before you flip the switch. We will be flipping the switch next month when school gets out and we have a test lab to test our policies for our users.

    Thankfully the site only has about 10 PC's and about 150gb of data.

    It is all in the timing though as I will be hosting their email here we need to both get on the same active directory. Which is coming but all in due time.
