Future Internet Access shortage

This has been looming on the horizon for a while, but I guess I'm just too cynical (actually, I prefer realistic) to expect much to be done until the $ cost of inaction becomes painful, and clearly higher than ignoring the problem in hope that it will go away.
Given the humble beginnings of the Internet as sort a DoD experiment/WAN, I think the 'net has proven incredibly robust.

Very interesting find, Street1... I think that Slgrieb is correct when says that not much will be done until the last minute. They are putting too much faith IMHO on Network Address Translation.
