    Post Installing a service Pack

    Hi everyone

I seem to remember reading not long ago that there is a method of installing NT wkstn 4.0 with a service pack all at the same time ie not having to install then install the SP. Anyone know how to do this?

    Much appreciated

I know that you can do it with Office 2000 and Windows 2000, but a for NT, I don't know. Search the web for NT, ntsp6a, and the word you are looking for is 'slipstreaming'

If you copy the i386 directory to a HDD and then copy the contents of the SP to the i386 directory. then run the setup from there. Will this work? This is a suggestion so please test first.

I've never heard of this, although you may be able to start up a batch file / installation script which may do what you ask. The service pack could be lauched after the initial WinNT4 deployment.

I have seen some CDs of NT4 being distributed with SP4 already included. Could this be what you used in the past?
