    Post Cnt log on to NT 4.0

    A customrs machine boots to where you should get ctrl+alt+del screed, but all you get is win NT splash screen. I looked in the knowledge base andit seems the problem is read permissions to %SystemRoot% folder have been removed. But it doesn't tell how to restore them. Cant log on in safe mode, last known good config. I don't know if it can be done from the repair console or not. He can't reformat because he has 180,000 customers CC numbers(with no bsck up I may add)

    If all else fails, get the drive into another NT machine over which you have admin rights. Get his info off and then re-install using the repair option.
