    socket 370

    I hasve two computers one is a emachines t1220with trigem lomita motherboard and the othe is emachines etower 533i. I am not sure what the mother board is in the 533i but I know it is a socket 370. the t1220 is a socket 370 can I swap the processor from the t1220 into the 533i and get the corredspindding speed increase or do I have to change the board also?

    You should be able to swap the processors in most cases. Post the board model number and we can confirm it for you.

    I am not usr eif this is a model number it is 30442 0003225 this off of the board in the 533i , and the board ib the t1220 is126851 0033251

    Those numbers mean nothing... use everest to get the make and model of the motherboard.
