Cd/dvd Lost Driver
MY CD/DVD ROM DOES NOT read no dvd/cd it says its corrupted. can some1 pls help me fix this .i tried updating it dont work pls pls help
have a tsstcorpdvd+rwts-h653asci cd rom device and it doesnot read anything it gives me a error 39 saying its corrupted.
i have a dell running windows vista

If the drive is corrupted, try a firmware update.
Go to http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/LiveUpdate/LiveUpdate.asp.
The device drivers installed for a dvd\cd drive are regular Microsoft drivers that come with Vista.

the official MSKB with guided help - if someone has tried this and it works on Vista I will forward it to the powers that be.
