SP5 \ Iomega Zip
I have seen boot-up (blue screen of death\scsiport.dll, etc) problems with the Iomega Parallel port zip drive once in awhile before, but it seems that every time I have installed sp5, which is like 10x now (test rollout)... people that never had the problem have it constantly now. Anyone else seen this problem, have a fix? I hate the parallel port zips with NT, haven't tried with 98.
I tried removing & reinstalling the original newest Iomega drivers, so far so good (only 1 day so far tho) just wondering if anyone else ran into this (didn't happen with sp4)

I've seen this happen after you've installed the drive, then shutdown, and then re-boot without the drive attached this happens every time but when I re-attach the drive and re-boot it works fine. I had to do this to remove ther driver.

I have seen an services-failed error when the the zip drive isnt attached at bootup, but this is a fatal error blue-screen...
FYI: I wrote Iomega and they had no clue, but I found that you have to un-attach the zip, remove the drivers, then reboot with zip back on, then install new drivers seems to have fixed it (had problems with the ide zip after SP5 too, I think it must overwrite some driver and zip doesn't like it)

try setting in services/control panel for the zip drive to boot instead of system
on startup option

the newest iomega drivers do not seem to have a problem when you load sp5, only the older versions seem to
