[RESOLVED] CS 4281 sound card problems
I just installed a CS 4281 PCI audio soundcard. (I'm running Win 98).
I can't get any sounds from the speakers, despites having reinstalled the CS 4281 drivers and having verified all systray options.
. The documentation says that I must activate the ACTIVE SPEAKER option. How do I actually do that ?
. How do I verify that my sound card is not defective ?
Thanks.

MegaMod
Hi,
You might try going into Control Panel/Multimedia and check to see if your device is listed under Preferred Device. If so, then click on the little box to the left of the Preferred Device drop-down menu and make sure that all of the volume controls are adjusted to your liking and not Muted.
Hope this helps you out...Good Luck!
