Computer speakers
Hi All,
Me and My wife moved to another apartment - I no longer can connect my computer the the AV receiver (No I have my own place for the computer "garbage"). I am looking for "Bang for the money" speaker set that will give Decent Gaming experience + occasional music (I usually listen to music in the saloon - but it would be nice addition).
I was thinking about Logitech x-530 - http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Ha.../Reviews/x530/
Does anybody have personal experience with this set?
If you have a set to recommend at the same price point (give or take 10$) - I would appreciate your thoughts
10x,
Gabriel

Hey Gab.
I think the best "Bang for the Shekel" will be this Altec Lansing ATP3 :
http://zap.co.il/model.asp?model_id=24875
They are not 7.1 or 5.1, And they are long time runners at the market, But they have great sound that a lot of people find appealing, And look at their reviews.
I also suggest that you'll go visit BUG or OFFICE depot store to listen to some speakers with your own ears.
Good luck man.

I currently have the ATP 3 - they are really good for Stereo and music, But I want surround sound (especially for 3d shooters...)
I am still waiting for the beer you promised

I had a set of those and now have the newer 540 ones
Excellent speakers and the 540 is considerably better with the volume, control box. Be sure you sound card has jacks for front out, rear out and center sub
