    how do i refoormat my drive on my notebook

    its a packard bell easy note.ain i cant open it up to log on

    If the laptop has a floppy you can boot with a Windows 98 Boot Disk and use FDISK to kill the partition and create a new one and format. You can find boot disk images here and if the laptop does not have a floppy there may be a bootable CD image you can use.

    What operating system where you planning on putting on there? And specific model and PC specifications would be helpful.
