I'd say, let anyone who can think of a movie ending that stinks should feel free to post their own alternate ending, or respond to a post. The one really firm rule ought to be that Old Yeller references should get the poster banned.
Hmm, gonna have to go off and think now. Darn! I hate when that happens. Still with all of Hollywood's legacy of cliches to draw from, how hard can it be?

Can't be done. The ending was perfect! The rotten bastardos couldn't get to him at all, he beat the system. That final scene has always been an inspiration to me. That and Bobby DeNiro's priceless turn as the plumber. ERE I AM

In "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan" they missed an opportunity to make the ending perfect by showing Khan (Ricardo Montalban) as he realized Kirk got away yet again. ASll through the movie they show his expression as Kirk beats him time and again. A hearty WTF!?!? by Khan would have made the movie perfect for me.
