Asus M2v Motherboard
Hi, I have a asus m2v mobo arriving soon for a freind, does it support SATA 2 ?, I have read only the Marvel contoller supports sata 2 , is this right , also can windows bw installed via this controller?

1 x Serial ATAI/II
1 x External Serial ATA 3Gb/s hard disk (SATA On-the-Go)
You need to load the sata driver at the F6 stage with XP.
With Vista it's slightly different
