slow printing

have customer that hired 90 day whiz bang nt specialist, screwed the printing(45 min for 1 sheet from ws that used to print in the time it took to walk to printer, 15 ft,)
any suggestions for him?
used to have the print driver on the ws, he moved it somewhere, i do not know nt, please keep it simple, if possible ;o)

Delete printer from print server, find correct printer drivers for it on the internet and re-install. Then charge that "expert" for the trouble he caused.

Printing can be extremely slow if there is a heavy load on the print server and/or if the partition with the spooler is almost full (\winnt\system32\spool). If he changed from "spool document first" to "print directly to printer" or vice versa that might have been the cause for the change as well.
