JVC GR-D72u Driver
Hello. Seeking some help with this digital video camera. I recently bought a new laptop, but can't locate the disk that accompanied it when I purchased the camera a few years ago, but want to use it for video with my swim team. I've looked all over the internet with no luck. Can anyone head me in the right direction to find the software/drivers so that my new computer recognizes the camera? Thanks so much!

Right let's start with the installation manual and the user manual
here are the specifications
You have both usb and firewire connections on the camera, which did you use before? Page 36 of the user manual goes through how to connect.
From what I can tell you need the jlip software here (near the bottom of the page)

thnx for your help so far. We never downloaded anythjng from the camera b4 except from the dv side of it and it seems to do that automatically, just a bitch finding where it puts it.
We never downloaded the tape to the pc.
Its the cd rom we havent got, that came with the camera?
When we plug it into the pc, dv out to usb in, it doesnt "see it".

USB out to usb in...
i-link out to firewire in
The manual shows you...
Use firewire, and use windows movie maker to capture.
