    Welcome to Windrivers Melis123

Can you post what windows version you have and whether you are up to date with your windows updates.

Do you have a firewall or antispy software?

Do you have a TV or a Video in graphics card?

Have you tried to see if windows messenger can use the camera?

Is that the kapersky with the firewall or without?

It might be that the computer is allowed to power down the usb port when it thinks it's idle... go into device manager (right click my computer, properties, hardware tab) and click on the + beside usb to expand the entries. On the entries for usb root hub double click each one and go to the power management tab. Uncheck the box to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Is your computer branded (hp, dell, toshiba) ? Give the make and model

If not, download this and install it. You can click on the motherboard icon and get the make and model

It's a fujitsu siemens - Biostar board was probably made for them.

It is a via chipset, so you want to make sure you have the chipset drivers installed Clicking the link will start the download. Unzip the files to somewhere you can find like C:\via drivers and then open the folder and double click the setup file to start the installation.

And you can try this patch for via usb
