Install XP only after replacement of drive

Had some interesting problem that was solved today.
Had this Foxconn via 890 based amd motherboard, Which froze in the middle of booting acronis trueimage cd/dvd and windows Xp pro install.
I've noticed that acronis DOES BOOT from Sandisk Usb drive. Replaced Sata nec drive to another one,Replaced memory - nothing helped.
sent motherboard for replacement, And similiar problem occured with new motherboard....Hmmmm
Connected old Ide cdrom drive which windows xp install went perfectly, And right now I am writing from this computer.....
Seems that there is some drive function problem with the nec sata drive I tried (AD-7170S)

Was the SATA controller set to AHCI mode? Did you try using IDE Emulation mode? Most boards offer the option.

I always use Sata in Ide mode. Maybe I'll try an IDE DVD-R drive in the near future, Just to check if it's the drive model or the drive's interface

OMG, You are so cute trying to help with this broken english :O)
I've connected the SATA HD and DVD to the only 2 SATA connectors onboard, And They were configured to work in IDE emulation mode (Not raid).
They were recognised during boot process and even during XP text based setup, So the problem wasn't recognising the DVD drive, but some internal hardware issue. (I also tried Pioneer sata drive, That didn't helped too).
Replacing DVD SATA drive to IDE solved the problem.
