fake 8gb from ebay hynix chip firmware help
hello i bought a 8gb usb off ebay
it's a alcor au6891 controller
with a hynix memory chip which is
hy27uu08ag5m
which i found out is equal to 2gb
i have got it working on 1gb using AlcorMP_6980 but the version of hynix chip it is is not in the program is there any other way i can get the extra 1gb?

I removed your link as it doesn't work.
I would complain to ebay that you have been ripped off if you cannot get a response from the seller. ... or perhaps you can't because you unwisely took it apart to see the chip information.
Frankly, given the cheapness of these items in general... chalk it up to experience and move on.

yeah i got in contact with the seller currently theres a dispute and froze he/she account till its fixed
